Huron Bruce Nature and Maitland Valley Conservation Authority, with support from Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority, will present “Shoreline IN Motion” Friday, August 22, 2025 from 9:30-11 am (Raindate Monday Aug 25). Join this session starting at the Point Clark Lighthouse Pavillion for a guided shoreline tour exploring the dynamic coastal processes that shape this unique stretch of Lake Huron’s shoreline. Learn how natural forces like waves, wind, and water levels continually reshape the coast, and how these changes affect the local landscape, ecosystems, and communities. Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority staff will be available to discuss its regulatory role and share resources for those seeking more information. If interested, consider a Lighthouse tour and get an aerial view of information learned in the session. Point Clark Lighthouse entrance fees apply. This session requires pre-registration.
